Description
On Push in Overwatch 2, the final meters tempt teams to overextend. As my team pushed toward enemy spawn, I recognized cooldowns and ultimates were about to come online. Instead of committing, I back-pedaled on Torbjörn while still firing long-range rivets, maintaining pressure without feeding. I had already planned my retreat path. Ten seconds later, the collapse happened exactly as expected. Because I disengaged early, I survived the wipe, avoided stagger, regrouped quickly, and used Molten Core on the re-engage to force spawn stagger. Smart retreat timing — not aggression — secured the final meters and the win.
