1. Doomfist’s Overwatch 1.0 Kit Overview
Hand Cannon (Primary Fire)
Short-range shotgun bursts from Doomfist’s fist.
Ammo automatically regenerates over time.
Use this in between abilities to finish off low-health targets or to soften enemies before combos.
Rocket Punch (Right-Click)
Charge a punch, then lunge forward to knock enemies back.
Deals more damage the longer it’s charged.
If an enemy is knocked into a wall, it deals bonus damage.
Great for quickly displacing or finishing enemies.
Rising Uppercut (E or Shift, depending on keybinds)
Launches enemies (and yourself) vertically into the air.
Can be chained with Seismic Slam or Rocket Punch for combo kills.
Also good for mobility to reach certain high-ground spots or to briefly dodge some abilities.
Seismic Slam (E or Shift, depending on keybinds)
Doomfist leaps forward and smashes into the ground, pulling nearby enemies closer to the impact point.
In Overwatch 1.0, the distance of your leap varies depending on whether you are in the air or on the ground.
Often used to initiate combos or close the gap on fleeing enemies.
Meteor Strike (Ultimate)
Doomfist leaps into the air, gains a top-down view to target an area, then crashes down, dealing high damage in a small radius.
Ideally used to secure kills, split the enemy team, or quickly reposition yourself.
The Doomfist Combo (Basic)
A common combo in OW1 is: Seismic Slam → Rising Uppercut → (Primary Fire) → Rocket Punch.
You can weave in extra primary shots after the Uppercut or at the end if you don’t need your Rocket Punch to confirm a kill.
2. General Doomfist Tips for Nepal
Stay near walls and corners: Doomfist’s playstyle thrives on using walls for extra Rocket Punch damage, surprising enemies with corner charges, and accessing close-quarters angles to land combos.
High ground → Slam: Take advantage of the map’s architecture to jump off ledges or high ground so your Seismic Slam covers a greater distance, letting you dive onto vulnerable targets.
Pick your engagements: Doomfist can get punished heavily if he dives in without a plan. Look for isolated targets, or engage right after your team starts a fight, when the enemy is distracted.
Work with supportive cooldowns: Ally abilities like Zarya’s bubble or Brig’s armor pack (in OW1) can help you survive your dive. Communicate with your team to coordinate.
