📍 POINT A – First choke (archway)
This is Mauga’s playground.
Hold right up in their face at the arch.
Use the corner near the fountain for cover to duck and sustain with Cardiac Overdrive.
You can play like a psycho here because the enemy has to walk through a tight bottleneck — meaning your miniguns get full value, especially if you lead with Incendiary to tag and pressure them.
🧠 Psych Damage Play:
Charge Overrun and fake a push through the arch — they panic and back up or burn cooldowns. Then you just laugh and back off.
🎯 Watch For:
Flankers like Genji or Tracer trying to come around the café side. Make them regret it.
📍 POINT A – If they get through arch
Fall back to the small plaza before the point. Use verticality and corners — the right side steps near hotel are good for re-engaging.
💡 Secret sauce: If you’ve tilted the enemy tank already at the choke, they often won’t full commit even here. You can Overrun in, burn supports, and still get out with Cardiac and backup.
📍 POINT B – Escort streets
This area’s wider, so you need to shift from choke control to flanking fear tactics.
Use side alleys (like the one behind the taco stand) to disappear, then reappear like a horror movie villain.
You’re a zone denier here: force them to funnel into tight corners, or fight you in the open where you can double-barrel rotate with support.
🧠 Mental Game:
Even just being seen in a flank angle makes the team pause and panic. They’ll split up, stare at walls, ping frantically. That’s free value.
📍 POINT C – Final stretch
This is the trickiest part. The streets open up, so you have to lean more into brawling around corners and capitalizing on mispositioned squishies.
Use the corner near the church to hold.
Peek aggressively with Cardiac, then dip back.
If they group and try to force push, drop Overrun behind them and cause disarray.
💣 Ults: Mauga's Cage Fight (Ultimate) is brutal in these tight spaces, especially if you trap them under the bridge or in the last corner before final point.
🧠 Mental Warfare on Defense
Show up aggressively, make them burn cooldowns early.
Stagger your deaths smart — even dying slightly delayed can keep pressure off your team.
Spam voice lines like "You're not strong enough!" after a solo push to tilt their tank.
