strategies for playing a Zarya–Tracer–Torbjörn–Kiriko–Moira composition on Busan’s three Control stages (Sanctuary, Meka Base, and Downtown). This composition blends elements of a brawl-style front line (Zarya, Moira, Kiriko) with an off-angle threat (Tracer) and turret zoning/area denial (Torbjörn). Each subsection includes initial setups, positioning priorities, ult usage, and synergy tips for your team.
General Composition Overview
Zarya: Acts as the main frontline. In Overwatch 2, Zarya can juggle double bubbles (Projected Barrier on herself or an ally) to aggressively push or to save teammates from lethal burst. Charge management is crucial for sustaining damage output.
Tracer: The primary flanker and duelist. Tracer provides constant pressure in the backline, capitalizing on her mobility and Pulse Bomb. She pairs extremely well with Zarya’s bubbles if you want to ensure safer Pulse Bomb sticks.
Torbjörn: Turret placement and Overload give mid- to long-range control. Torbjörn’s turret helps lock down flanks or angles your backline can’t easily watch. Torb’s primary and secondary fires also lend good shield-breaking or close-range burst if needed.
Kiriko: The mobile support who can flank with Tracer if necessary or quickly teleport back to Zarya/Torb to provide healing and utility. Kitsune Rush is a game-changing ultimate for fast brawls or point retakes.
Moira: Primary group sustain. Her resource management is crucial to keep Zarya and Torbjörn alive in extended fights. Coalescence can either initiate fights aggressively or sustain during a risky re-contest.
1. Busan: Sanctuary
Map Characteristics
Open central courtyard with a large drum in the middle and two flanking paths that wrap around.
A raised temple wall on one side and a low bridge or steps on the other side.
The point itself is relatively open but has multiple pillars and corners around the edges.
Initial Engagement & Positioning
Zarya
Rotate your team through the left or right side (depending on your team’s preference and scouting).
Try to take an early position near the central drum for cover.
Use your Projected Barrier on yourself initially to gain charge from poke damage. Once you have charge, you can maintain frontline control.
Torbjörn
Place your turret on a slight high ground or behind a pillar with a clear line of sight to the point. The turret can watch for flankers or deter the enemy from diving your supports.
If the enemy has strong hitscan or spam, consider placing the turret more tucked away so it can’t be destroyed easily. It’s better to keep it alive than to risk short-lived but more aggressive turret spots.
Tracer
Use the flanking routes on the outer edges. You want to draw attention away from your main group.
If the enemy tries to brawl your Zarya, come behind them to collapse. If they ignore you, pick off supports or force cooldowns from the flank.
Kiriko & Moira
Play with Zarya and Torb in a tight formation at first. Moira’s healing orb combined with Kiriko’s single-target healing will sustain Zarya’s forward push.
Kiriko can position off-angle if safe, quickly teleporting back into the team or to Tracer in emergencies.
Holding the Point
Once you cap, use the pillars and drum for natural cover.
Keep your turret slightly forward or to the side of the objective, forcing the enemy to clear it before pushing fully.
Zarya can posture at the choke entrances to farm energy and bubble teammates.
Tracer can continue flanking or rotate behind the enemy’s approach route to disrupt reinforcements.
Ult Usage
Kitsune Rush: Great for retaking or holding. Use it along a main path or corridor so that your entire team (especially Torb’s turret and Moira’s healing) benefits from the increase in rate-of-fire and movement speed.
Coalescence: Can be used to initiate a push when you need to move onto point or to stabilize mid-fight when your frontline is taking heavy damage.
Graviton Surge + Pulse Bomb: A classic combo. You can quickly wipe the enemy if they clump. Since it’s an open area, try to catch the enemy in spots with less natural cover (like near the drum or mid-point).
Molten Core: Excellent for zoning. If the enemy tries to collapse onto point, spread lava to block retreat paths or choke them out from contesting.
