Torbjörn is typically viewed as a defensive hero who sets up a turret and holds ground, flanking can be a game-changer—especially at higher ranks like Grandmaster where enemies easily destroy predictable turret setups. A well-timed flank allows you to: Distract the enemy team and force them to split focus. Create crossfires where your turret fires from one angle, and you burst from another. Catch supports/squishies off-guard with a close-range shotgun blast. Rebuild or relocate your turret from an unexpected position, making it harder to counter. On Ilios, each sub-map (Well, Lighthouse, Ruins) offers unique flank paths that Torbjörn can exploit to surprise the enemy backline, set up behind them, or coordinate with your team’s push from the front.
