On the surface, the Blue team looked outmatched. The Red team’s Bastion led the lobby in eliminations and damage, their Sombra roamed unchecked, and several Blue players struggled with low damage and high deaths. By the numbers alone, this should have been a Red team victory. But the match turned on two key factors: survivability and sustain. Blue’s Torbjörn (RSK) and Orisa (UrDaddysBish) formed an unshakable core, combining consistent damage with minimal deaths. Orisa’s massive mitigation absorbed Red’s opening bursts, while Torbjörn’s turrets and Molten Core punished any attempt to push in. Behind them, Moira and Kiriko out-healed Red’s supports, capitalizing on the near-total absence of healing from the enemy Mercy. Meanwhile, Red’s damage dealers frequently strayed from the bot, prioritizing kills over escorting the objective. Blue’s disciplined regrouping and focus on the push meant every small fight win translated into real distance gains. When the dust settled, it wasn’t the flashiest team that won — it was the one that played the long game, stayed alive, and kept the bot moving.
