Overview of Torbjörn’s Old Turret Mechanics Levels of the Turret Level 1: You place the turret down; it starts at Level 1 with low health and damage output. Level 2: You (the player) can use your Forge Hammer to upgrade it. Once you hold down the interact to upgrade, the turret’s appearance changes and gains more health and fire rate. Molten Core (Ultimate): In Overwatch 1.0, using your ultimate while near a Level 2 turret could temporarily upgrade it to Level 3 (increasing health and firepower significantly). Repairing Torbjörn can repair his turret using the Forge Hammer. You must be close to the turret, hold primary fire (by default) to repair. Keep an eye on the turret’s health bar—especially if enemies are focusing it. Turret Health & Damage Your turret is fairly resilient, but concentrated enemy fire (or a sniper shot, or a Pharah barrage) can quickly destroy it if placed in a bad spot without cover.
