In Overwatch 2 rank-up matches, chaos is the norm — no tank, no heals, nonstop staggers. To break through, Torbjörn isn’t just DPS; he becomes the team’s pseudo-tank. By firing nonstop, anchoring fights with Overload, and doubling lobby average damage (16k vs 6–7k), Torb turns into the frontline carry that holds everything together. Ranking up isn’t about playing “normal Torb” — it’s about mastering both DPS Torb and Tank Torb, depending on what the lobby demands.
