1. Tank (Orisa)
• Why it works: Orisa brings strong frontline presence, high survivability, and can protect the team with her Fortify and Energy Javelin spin (both of which also generate Mitigation stats).
• Role in Shambali: Shambali has narrow corridors and tight corners, so Orisa’s crowd-control abilities (spear spin, javelin throw) excel at denying enemy space. She can also anchor your team around the payload and block enemy attempts to dive or flank.
Key Tips
1. Stay near corners for quick cover—pop out to contest the cart and then retreat when pressured.
2. Use your spear spin to push enemies back on ramps and around corners; it’s especially powerful at these choke points.
3. Time Fortify so that you remain unmovable when enemies attempt to knock you off high ground or push you away from the payload.
2. Damage 1 (Sojourn / Hitscan)
• Why it works: A hitscan (or semi-hitscan like Sojourn) hero can pick off enemy targets at medium-to-long range, exploit high ground angles, and pressure enemy squishies.
• Role in Shambali: Shambali Monastery has multiple mid-range sightlines (especially on the final stretch indoors and the ramp switchbacks). A flexible DPS who can quickly reposition or find angles keeps the enemy supports and flankers in check.
Key Tips
1. Use high ground ledges and the top of ramps to get clean shots.
2. Coordinate with your tank to push when you’ve built up your railgun shot (if playing Sojourn) or you see a good pick opportunity.
3. Pay attention to flank routes—Shambali has a few side paths that let you surprise the backline or deny flankers from your own backline.
