Ana's kit is all about control—she’ll keep her team alive, deny your plays with Sleep Dart, and anti-nade you into a sad, unhealable puddle. If she’s running the lobby, here’s how to shut her down hard:
🕶️ General Tips:
Don’t rush in solo – Ana wants you to come 1v1 so she can sleep/dart/nade combo you and walk off.
Force her cooldowns – Make her use Sleep and Nade early, then go in. She's helpless when those are down.
Line-of-sight her – She needs LOS to heal and poke. Break sightlines or make her reposition constantly.
🔫 Countering Ana by Role:
🧱 TANK:
Winston – Nightmare for Ana. Jump on her, bubble her off from her team, zap her while she panics. Block nade with bubble.
D.Va – Eat her nade with Defense Matrix and boost into her face. She’s made of paper. Bonus: you can body-block her sleep dart.
Reinhardt – Harder, but if you catch her out, she dies fast. Don’t get naded before charging in.
🔫 DPS:
Tracer – Ana hates Tracer. Blink past her nade, bait out Sleep, and finish her off before she can peel. If she hits sleep, though… press F to pay respects.
Genji – Deflect Sleep/Nade, dash in/out, and keep the pressure. If she's isolated, she's basically a free kill.
Sombra – Hack her mid-fight so she can’t heal or sleep. She’ll scream internally. Farm EMPs off her for ultimate pain.
Echo – Spam her from range, dive when cooldowns are gone, duplicate someone scary and delete her.

Lucio – Boop her into bad spots, wallride to avoid Sleep/Nade, and slowly drive her insane with speed and sound.
Illari – Out-range her and tap headshots. Use pylon to counter-nade pressure.
😈 Bonus Dirty Tactics:
Flank Ana – She's often in the backline. Sneak around and assassinate.
Wait for cooldowns – Watch her use Sleep or Nade on someone else? That's your green light.
Bait her abilities – Jump in, make her panic, then disengage. Come back 3 seconds later when she’s helpless.
