Phase 1: Attacking Point A
Approach & Initial Setups
Spawn to Choke: King’s Row has a very narrow main choke. As you move towards the choke, consider placing your turret slightly off-angle:
Behind the Bus: You can set your turret on top or behind the bus at choke to give it partial cover from enemy fire. It will pressure defenders perched on the high ground balcony or near the statue.
Hotel Entrance: Another cheeky spot is inside or just outside the Hotel (the building to the left of the choke when exiting spawn), allowing the turret to shoot at defenders who try to hold the corner by the statue.
Poking & Pressure: Use your primary fire to poke at the enemy’s frontline (tanks, barriers) or to snipe at backline targets if they peek out. The turret itself can force the defenders to move from the open statue area or risk chip damage.
Capturing the Point
Pushing Onto Point: Once your team decides to push onto the objective, you can reposition your turret to maintain line of sight on the defending team’s typical vantage points:
Planter or Corners: The corners around the statue or the short wall near the point can provide decent cover for the turret. Keep it safe from easy destruction by high-damage hits (like a Hanzo arrow or Pharah rockets).
Overload Aggression: If the enemy tries to contest you directly on point, use Overload to ramp up your damage output. Between your shotgun secondary fire and turret, you can burn down squishies or help chunk down the enemy tank.
Molten Core Usage: If you have your ultimate by the time you’re forcing a capture, dropping Molten Core on the point or around the choke from the defender’s spawn side can split the fight, preventing them from regrouping or stalling effectively.
