Description	Note that Overwatch has changed significantly over time (and Symmetra has undergone major reworks), but these tips reflect the original version of Symmetra (6 turrets, shorter effective range, a teleporter or shield generator ultimate, etc.) on the classic Eichenwalde map. General Principles for Symmetra Turret Placement in Overwatch 1.0 Cover Choke Points: Symmetra’s Sentry Turrets excel at locking down narrow corridors and forcing enemies to look multiple ways at once. On Eichenwalde, you’ll want to focus on bottlenecks (the castle archways, doorways, staircases) to maximize turret effectiveness. Stack Turrets in Overlapping Fields of Fire: If two or three turrets can beam the same enemy at once, you have a good chance of scoring quick picks on squishier heroes or at least forcing them to retreat. Hide Them Out of Immediate Line of Sight: Turrets are fragile and easy to destroy if they’re in plain view. Placing them around corners, behind objects, or up high can delay an enemy’s reaction time long enough for your turrets to deal meaningful damage. Set Up Early, Then Adapt: As the enemy pushes the payload or captures the objective, Symmetra can reposition turrets further back. Knowing when to shift from a forward hold to a fallback defense is key.
