Description
Rialto is an Escort map in Overwatch featuring a mix of open spaces, narrow passages, and high-ground vantage points—perfect for Torbjörn to leverage his long-range capabilities. A successful long-range strategy with Torbjörn on this map revolves around smart turret placement and effective use of his rivet gun's long-range fire mode. Below is a detailed guide tailored to Rialto's three main phases. Key Principles Turret Placement: Position your turret in spots with wide visibility to cover key areas like the payload path or chokepoints. High ground is ideal, but balance visibility with safety to protect it from long-range enemy heroes. Rivet Gun Usage: Torbjörn’s rivet gun has a long-range mode (right-click) that fires arcing projectiles. Use it to deal damage from a distance while your turret provides additional firepower. Adaptability: Adjust your turret placement based on the enemy team’s composition—heroes like Widowmaker, Hanzo, or Pharah can destroy exposed turrets easily.
