Seismic Slam, Rising Uppercut, and Rocket Punch—together effectively. While Doomfist has gone through several updates over time, this guide references his original Overwatch 1 kit and approach. 1. Understand Your Abilities in Overwatch 1 Seismic Slam Purpose: Quickly close distance from medium range; pulls enemies slightly forward on impact. Key Tip: Use from high ground whenever possible to maximize distance traveled and unexpected angles. Rising Uppercut Purpose: Launch yourself and nearby enemies into the air, disorienting them. Key Tip: Pairs well with your primary fire (Hand Cannon) mid-air. You can follow up with Rocket Punch for a finisher or to escape. Rocket Punch Purpose: Deliver a high-damage blow that knocks enemies back (and deals extra damage if they hit a wall). Key Tip: Best used after setting up position or when you have an enemy cornered. Charging it fully can secure kills on lower-HP heroes. Hand Cannon (Primary Fire) Purpose: Finish off targets or add damage between abilities. Key Tip: After you Uppercut someone, you have a great angle to shoot down at them.
