While Widowmaker can shine on Junkertown with its long sightlines, you’ll need to stay mindful of flank routes and enemy dive attempts. Let’s break down each phase of the map and highlight best practices, vantage points, team compositions, and counters. 1. Map Overview Junkertown is divided into three sections: Phase 1 (Exterior / Junkyard) A wide-open area with scattered buildings and high ground on either side. The payload starts outside the attackers’ spawn and moves through a gate into the scrap-filled open yard. Phase 2 (Barn / Workshop) A more enclosed area with multiple ramps and catwalks. Sightlines get tighter, and flank routes increase. Phase 3 (Foundry / Final Stretch) The most enclosed area, with multiple layers of high ground and catwalks. The final room is more chaotic, often requiring more close-range and mid-range engagements. Widowmaker’s effectiveness is highest in Phase 1 due to the long, open sightlines. As you move deeper into the map, you’ll need to adapt to tighter spaces, rotating vantage points, and more potential flanks.
