When you drop Biotic Field at his feet, you’re not only healing him but also healing yourself (since you’re positioned just behind him) and often nearby supports. That means one ability is simultaneously extending three layers of survival: tank → DPS → supports. In your last game, this is why you hit 2,423 healing (well above average for Soldier), while still maintaining 7,300+ damage and low deaths. By maximizing field placement, you reduce strain on your supports, let your tank absorb more, and ensure you’re not the “next branch to snap” once the root falls.
